HISTORY
2001 – Administration of Chickasaw Nation CONUS Army Dental Service contract for MEDCOM / DENCOM of Ft. Sam Houston, TX. Serving 42 domestic Army Posts with additional posts in Hawaii, Korea and Puerto Rico with 322 dental professionals by providing recruiting, hiring, placement, payroll, benefits administration and human resources consultation.
2007 – Chickatay Inc. became an equal partner of US Aviation Group (USAG) and is responsible for recruiting, hiring, placement, HR administration, labor relations, client relations, public affairs, marketing, student services, government affairs and federal contracting associated with the multi-faceted USAG.
2010 – Chickatay Inc. US Aviation Group partnered with Tarrant County College to establish a FAA approved Part 141 flight training curriculum for college students at TCC Northwest Campus / Alliance Airport located at the Erma C. Johnson Hadley Center of Excellence for Aviation, Transportation and Logistics with over 120 students currently participating in the program.
2011 – Chickatay Inc. doing business as US Aviation Group awarded a multi-million dollar indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Type 1 Special training (flight training) for multiple countries. The United States Airforce, Air Education and Training Command Contracting Squadron/LGCI, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (FA3002-11-D-0010).
2013 – US Aviation Academy was the first to partner with American Eagle (Envoy) to develop a Pipeline Instructor Program, a career path from Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) to Regional Airline Pilot.
2015 – Chickatay Inc. (US Aviation Group) sub-contractor to KBR-Wyle who was co-awarded a contract for Multi-Aircraft flight training (FA3002-16-D-0001) providing initial, recurrent and instructor aircrew training for 43 different aircraft types for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) through September 2022. The 338th Specialized Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas is the contracting activity.
2018 – US Aviation Group was awarded the Southwest Region professional pilot training partner for the US Dept of Transportation “Forces to Flyers” research initiative. This DOT program was designed to support US military veterans with training for a professional pilot career.
2019 – US Aviation Group selected as “Employee Pathway” training partner for Southwest Airlines Destination 225° career program which provides pathways to becoming a competitively qualified candidate for future Southwest First Officer positions
2019 – US Aviation Group (USAG) partners with Lone Star College-Montgomery campus in Conroe, TX to provide flight training for the new Professional Pilot Program offered at the Lone Star College-Conroe Center.
2020 – US Aviation Group (USAG) and United Airlines partner via the United “Aviate” career path program. This program provides a clear pathway for qualified US Aviation students and instructors to United Airlines flight deck as a professional commercial airline pilot..
2020 – US Aviation Group (USAG) announces a partnership with Dutchess Community College (DCC) located in Poughkeepsie, New York to provide a professional pilot program beginning in January 2021 with flight operations to be conducted out of the Hudson Valley Regional Airport (KPOU).
2021- US Aviation Group (USAG) announces an agreement with Southeastern Missouri State University (SEMO) to provide professional pilot program management services for their new Professional Pilot Bachelor of Science degree.
2021- US Aviation Group (USAG) announces FAA approval of a Part 147 A&P program for students pursuing a career as an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT). The A&P program is 12 months, compared to other programs typically lasting two years.
2021 – US Aviation Academy partners with Norway’s Pilot Flight Academy (PFA) and granted a special permit by the Norwegian Civil Air Authority (NCAA) and European Aviation Safety Administration (EASA) to teach Norwegian students under a dual enrollment course.
2022 – US Aviation Academy secures FAA approval of a Part 147 A&P program for students pursuing a career as an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) at their Denton location (KDTO).
2023 – US Aviation Academy opens its second Airframe and Powerplant training campus in San Marcos Regional Airport (HYI) expanding our training offering to the San Antonio Texas and Austin Texas markets
2024 – US Aviation Academy opens it’s third Airframe and Powerplant training campus in Atlanta Georgia in Forest Park GA expanding our training offering to another great market with Delta Air Lines Tech Ops 10 minutes from the Campus.
2024 – US Aviation Academy opens its fourth Airframe and Powerplant training campus in Minneapolis Minnesota at Blaine Airport (ANE) expanding our training offering to another great market with Sun Country Airlines and Endeavor Air.
2024 – US Aviation Academy officially partners with Sun Country Airlines to help support their requirement to increase their A&P Technician hiring goals.
2024 – US Aviation Academy officially partners with Texas Woman University (TWU) to train their collegiate students to become commercial pilots.
2025 – US Aviation Academy officially partners with Delta Air Lines Pilot Recruiting for Delta Propel to help support their A&P Technician hiring goals.
2026– US Aviation Academy was awarded the bid for the United States Air Force Initial Pilot Training (IPT) program at the Denton Texas campus, training young Air Force officers in the art of flight .
